App licence and service rules

The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These rules describe use of the Together Grocery service. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. The privacy policy explains processing of personal information.

Free shopping lists

Version 1.0 is free and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. You can keep up to four active lists across guest lists visible on your device and your signed-in account. Archiving keeps a list’s contents and frees an active slot. If signing in brings more than four lists together, you choose which extra lists to archive; their contents remain readable and exportable. Future paid features would require a separate, clearly presented purchase choice.

Your account and content

Guest lists are kept on your device. Sign in with Apple or Google to save lists to your account and collaborate. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in account secure and for the information you add. You retain rights to your content and permit us to store, synchronise and display it to provide the features you choose.

Sharing

A person with a valid invitation code can join after signing in. Members can add, edit and mark products. The owner can manage members, revoke invitations and delete the list for everyone. Archiving a shared list is personal to that participant. Removing access does not remove copies already exported by another participant.

Recognition and availability

Local product recognition suggests item boundaries; review suggestions before adding. Department grouping uses a bundled dictionary and may classify unfamiliar names as Other or choose an unsuitable department. Check item names, quantities and categories yourself. It does not provide allergy, nutrition or medical advice. Cloud collaboration needs an internet connection. Cached product edits retry after reconnection; invitations and list/account management require a connection. Keep an export of information important to you.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully. Do not upload unlawful content, infringe others’ rights, attempt unauthorised access, send unwanted invitations, or disrupt the service. We may restrict misuse or suspend access when reasonably needed for security or legal compliance. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

Leaving and deletion

You may stop using the service, leave shared lists, or delete your account in Settings. Account deletion removes lists you own for all participants. Contributions in lists owned by others remain without your author identifier. Guest lists remain on their devices. See the privacy policy for cleanup and retention details.

Changes and support

We may maintain, change or discontinue features, with appropriate notice where required. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or perfect recognition. Nothing in these rules excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions and requests can be sent to the contact above. Material changes to these rules will be identified through an updated date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
